Poker Face Max

One morning, Owen, Max and Dad decided to play a game of Monopoly Junior. Max just had to wear his sunglasses. I think Dad and Max are going to be Vegas buddies some day.

Tornado

On May 22nd, there were 7 tornados in Northern Colorado. Some were very close to our town. Fortunately, Grandpa and Grandma came over and sent my babysitter home. They woke up Ian and they all took cover in the basement. I was at school and made it home safely. Dad was at work.

Field Day

Owen and I at home, ready to head to school for our last day and for Field Day.
Owen listens as his teacher explains the events at field day.
Can you pick out Owen?

Owen liked tug-o-war. Two mommies from Owen's class carried around my camara so that I could have pictures of Owen at field day. I had to stay with my class during most of the time, but I did sneak to Owen's class every now and then.

Owen didn't think it was fair that mom joined the girls in his class when it was boys against girls. :)

More Field Day

Owen competing in a gunny sack race.

Owen and Brecklyn racing each other on the blow-up obstacle course.
The object of this field event was to bounce a water balloon up and down on a sheet without letting it fall and break on the ground.

Owen and Nathan did the three legged race together.

Kim's Kindergartners

Look at all of my soon to be first graders! We had a great year! Top: Me, Cora, Brook, Audrey, Julia, Carter, George and Renee. Middle: Daylyn, Grant, Emma, Connor, Ella, Adom, Abby. Front: Danielle, Peyton, Paige, Isabel, Garrett. Not pictured, Keelan.

Baby Chicks

The second grade classes always hatch either duck or chicken eggs during their Life Cycles Unit. This is a picture of one of the incubators. I may be borrowing it over the summer to do a little chick hatching with the boys.

Owen was very excited to be able to hold the chick.

Owen and his Kindergarten teacher

Owen had a wonderful kindergarten teacher. He always tells Max that she will be his teacher too! We hope so!! And don't forget about Ian!
